Dr. Louis Markos, professor of English at Houston Baptist University, talks about the ways in which the British Romantic poets projected their inner emotions onto the external world, a perspective that shaped the intense, vibrant images that appeared in their writings. Markos’s lecture, Eye of the Beholder: How to See the World Like a Romantic Poet, is this month’s “Artful Thursday” program at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston.
Louis Markos talks with Eric Ladau.
