River Oaks Chamber Orchestra

Join Elaine Kennedy this Wednesday evening at 8 for the first of a brand new series of broadcasts featuring Houston’s own River Oaks Chamber Orchestra. On this week’s program, conductor JoAnn Falletta leads the orchestra in Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 3, the “Scottish” symphony; Ligeti’s Romanian Concerto; and the world premiere of Scott McAllister’s Rhapsodie for String Bass and Chamber Orchestra featuring ROCO principal double-bassist Sandor Ostlund.
