We preview the 2012 Houston Shakespeare Festival’s production of Hamlet, which opens Friday at Miller Outdoor Theatre. Actors Benjamin Reed and Cindy Pickett talk about playing the lead roles of the doomed Prince of Denmark and his manipulative mother Gertrude, and director Steve Pickering explains his decision to set the tragedy during World War One.
