Violist Lawrence Wheeler is an Associate Professor at the University of Houston’s Moores School of Music. He plays Duos and Trios by Mozart and Beethoven, tonight at 8:00 – not at the U-of-H -- but in the Belin Chapel in the Morris Cultural Arts Center on the campus of Houston Baptist University. Wheeler will be assisted in his faculty recital by the young Canadian violinist Judy Kang … and by the Shepherd School of Music’s world-renowned teaching-artist, cellist Lynn Harrell. Kang and Wheeler discuss the prograwm with St. John Flynn. Listen. Download.
